Sateri Wins "4th Asian Excellence Recognition Awards 2014 
Best Investor Relations Company (China)" from Corporate Governance Asia

Sateri Holdings Limited, one of the biggest producers of cellulose in the world, has been awarded the "4th Asia Excellence Recognition Awards 2014, Best Investor Relations Company (China)" from Corporate Governance Asia. This is the third consecutive year that Sateri has won this award, recognizing Sateri’s proven record in investor relations and corporate governance.

The Awards are organized by Corporate Governance Asia, a renowned publication on corporate governance in Hong Kong and other parts of Asia. The Awards recognize excellence in investor communications, business ethics, corporate social responsibility, environmental practices and financial performance.

These awards are designed to inspire excellence among the Asian business community to uphold the highest ethics in business practices, especially now that Asia continues to gain further recognition as a favored investment destination in view of its robust economic growth.

Sateri, as part of the RGE group of companies founded by Sukanto Tanoto, offers products such as viscose staple fiber and high-purity dissolving wood pulp, which play an integral role in the production of eyeglass frames, baby wipes, pharmaceuticals, and sausage casings. Sateri hosts its upstream operations on a secure renewable plantation in Brazil that plants and grows eucalyptus trees for high-purity dissolving wood pulp. Every year, Sateri production facilities in Brazil produce nearly 500,000 metric tons of dissolving wood pulp. In the same vein, the company’s viscose staple fiber mill in Jiangxi, China has an annual design capacity of 160,000 metric tons. Throughout all of its activities, Sateri is firmly dedicated to sustainability and social responsibility. The company uses only renewable plantation trees in its products and employs environmentally responsible policies and procedures.
